Lead Python Developer

As a Lead Python Developer of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of projects.

Responsibilities:Lead the development of new applications from concept to production using open-source models.Architect and implement scalable, efficient, and maintainable Python code for complex systems.Collaborate with data scientists, and engineers to design and optimize algorithms and models.Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Drive continuous improvement through code reviews, documentation, and best practices.

Qualifications:Proficient in Python (3+ years), with expertise in FastAPI, asyncio, websockets, and astStrong SQL (MySQL) skillsKnowledgeable in software development best practices (coding standards, code reviews, source control, testing, CI/CD, Git, GitHub Actions)Solid understanding of web development principles (databases, APIs, frontend integration)Ability to build scalable and maintainable Python code for rapid growthWillingness to take on diverse tasks in a lean team environmentExcellent communication skills, with fluency in English or FrenchEnthusiastic team player with a startup mindset

Bonus points:Good experience with HTML / CSS / plain JavascriptGreat experience with Google Cloud / Azure / AWS.
