Golang Lead Developer

Role: Sr Lead Software Engineer GolangContract: B2B (freelance)Location: 100% remote from the European UnionDuration: 6 months plus possible extension

Tech Leadership:

-Technical leadership and guidance to the development team-Mentor and coach junior developers to increase their skills and knowledge-Lead by example (best practices, coding standards, dev methodologies)

Feature Dev:

-Utilize requirements provided by POs to develop new features/enhance.-Coordinate feature development efforts within the team

BE Dev:

-Lead the development of BE features and services using Golang-Collaborate with BE developers to ensure seamless integration between the FE and BE components

Testing and QA: -Promote best practices for unit testing and code quality

Support/Release Management:

-Lead support for live events and sw releases, ensuring a stable/responsive application-Coordinate release planning and deployment

Architecture:

-Participate in architectural decisions, contributing to the overall design of the application-Ensure architecture is scalable/maintainable

Continuous Improvement:

-Continuously optimize development processes, tools-Implement improvements to enhance team efficiency/productivity Collaboration/Communication:-Foster a collaborative environment within the development team and across cross-functional teams-Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including POs/other team

Doc:

-Ensure that technical documentation is maintained and up-to-date, providing a valuable resource for the team and future reference

Code Reviews:

-Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, identify issues, and ensure adherence to coding standards

Risk Management:

-Proactively identify and address technical risks and challenges that may impact project delivery.
