Senior Developer

We are currently seeking a Senior Developer for a nine (9) month engagement on behalf of our client. This full-stack development role is based in Burnaby, British Columbia, with the option to work remotely.

Senior Developer Job Details

Front-end:

Utilize front-end technologies such as Chart.js, Angular, HTML, and CSS to develop user-friendly and interactive web pages.Translate mock-ups and design specifications into fully functional web interfaces.Request and consume data from RESTful APIs to ensure seamless data integration and presentation.

Back-end:

Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and implement back-end solutions using the .NET framework, Entity framework, and UnitOfWork design pattern.Create and maintain RESTful APIs for efficient data exchange and communication.Design and optimize databases using MS SQL Server, SQL, and LINQ.Integrate authentication systems, including AD, ADFS, and OpenID, to ensure secure access to the platform.

Senior Developer Mandatory Skills

Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a focus on both front-end and back-end development.Proficiency in front-end technologies, including Chart.js, Angular, HTML, and CSS.Strong ability to translate design mock-ups into functional web pages.Experience working with RESTful APIs for data integration.In-depth knowledge of back-end technologies, such as the .NET framework, Entity framework, UnitOfWork design pattern, MS SQL Server, SQL, and LINQ.Familiarity with authentication systems like AD, ADFS, and OpenID.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Senior Developer Desired Skills

Prior experience in a senior role, leading projects or teams.Knowledge of accessibility best practices.Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively communicate with non-technical team members.Passion for continuous learning and improvement.
