Sr Backend Java Developer

• Operate as part of a project team responsible for delivering an assortment of superior quality components to be utilized in desktops, middleware, and server platforms.• Create efficient bug-free source codes that fulfill business needs and uphold team norms.• Suggest technological alternatives to address intricate issues on data connectivity, such as query execution optimization, caching, reliability, etc.• Develop test cases to affirm code accuracy.• Assist in enhancing the efficacy and productivity of the team, including: • Coaching less experienced engineers who join the team.• Preparing necessary design documentation and specifications.• Recommending upgrades to the code structure, testing procedure, and overall design that resolve complex problems across different products.• Aid and be involved in the release process.• Recognize modifications that improve system efficiency and lower operation or maintenance costs.

Qualifications:• At least five years of solid experience with Java programming (Java 1.8 and higher.)• Proficiency in writing code that is testable.• Experience in utilizing REST and SOAP-based web services, and processing JSON/XML and related formats.• Capability in dealing with multi-threading and thread synchronization issues.• Working knowledge with TCP-based protocols and parsing binary data is preferable.• Familiarity in establishing connections with a broad range of relational and non-relational databases.• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
