Responsibilities: Develop, configure, and customize PEGA applications, including PEGARULES Process Commander (PRPC) and PEGA Infinity, based on client requirements and specifications. Design and implement decision strategies and business rules using PEGA's decision capabilities. Integration of PEGA applications with external systems, DBs and APIs Troubleshoot and debug issues in PEGA applications Ensure and optimize the performance and efficiency of PEGA applications. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance. Contribute to the development of feature design documents and provide inputs to specifications. Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and security principles in Pega application development. Continuously learn and enhance your skills in the Pega ecosystem, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and industry trends. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to the team. Skills & Experience: ▪ Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in computer science / information technology / computer engineering / computer applications. ▪ 4-7 years of experience as a PEGA Developer with a good understanding of the Payment Cards Industry and Financial Services industry. ▪ Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with the PEGA platform, including PEGA Rules Process Commander (PRPC) and PEGA Infinity. ▪ Experience in integration of PEGA applications with external systems, databases, and APIs, using technologies such as SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, and DX API. ▪ Familiarity with designing and implementing decision strategies and business rules using PEGA's decisioning capabilities. ▪ Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug PEGA applications. ▪ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and team members effectively. ▪ Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment and contribute to the overall success of the project ▪ Ability to take extreme ownership of assigned work and must treat every day is a challenge to ensure the performance to the expectations as an individual and the team has agreed upon, both in regard to estimates and to the general process. ▪ A positive mindset and can-do attitude. ▪ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail. ▪ Ability to work independently as well as a team member. Skills & Experience advantage: • PEGA certifications (Certified PEGA Business Architect / Certified PEGA System Architect) • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. • Knowledge of PEGA CLM KYC module and merchant data management (desired). • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). • Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence techniques in PEGA applications. • Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging patterns (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ). • Understanding of microservices architecture and API management. • Knowledge of data privacy and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) in the financial services industry.
