Developer .NET (WPF)

Newton Vision Corp is seeking a Full Stack .NET/ WPF Software Engineer to support a large client on multiple projects. This is a fully remote role and is an open-ended, long-term assignment.

Job Description:As a Fullstack .NET/WPF Developer, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of our AQ Core project. You will utilize your expertise in C#, .NET Framework/Core, WPF, and other technologies to drive the success of our software solutions.

Essential Skills:Proficient in C# with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.Thorough grasp of .NET Framework and .NET Core for building robust applications.Experience with WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) for creating rich desktop applications.Competent in WebApi and RESTful principles for developing scalable and efficient APIs.Proficiency in SQL Server for database design, implementation, and management.Familiarity with Azure Cloud services, including Azure Functions, Azure Management API, Application Insights, App Services, Event Grid, etc.Knowledge of CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) practices to ensure smooth software delivery processes.Proficient in Git version control system for collaborative development.Experience with project management tools like Jira for effective project tracking and collaboration.Ability to create comprehensive software documentation to facilitate understanding and maintenance of codebase.

Nice to Have:Understanding of Microservice Architecture and its implementation in software development.Familiarity with IAM (Identity and Access Management) solutions such as Auth0 for secure authentication and authorization.Knowledge of MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) design pattern for building scalable and maintainable WPF applications.Experience in managing applications on IIS (Internet Information Services) for deployment and hosting.
