Shopify Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a Shopify Expert Developer to join our team. Ideal candidate has had a lot of experience by solving ecommerce engineering problems and customizing the stores to deliver WoW experiences. The right candidate is an efficient and technically-proficient coder, a clear communicator, documents their work and development changes, is highly-organized, minimizes hard-coded elements so that software can be easily updated, self-motivated, and has experience performing and delivering on time when working in an independent work environment. The ideal candidate will be hands on and a fast learner who keep pace with events, technology advancements and trends in ecommerce space

Responsibilities

Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality codeHelp formulate an effective, responsive design and turn it into a working themeWork with the team to establish and guide the website’s architectureIntegrate third-party applications and plugins to enhance store functionalityBuild Custom Shopify appsBe adept at performance optimization techniques to improve page load on mobile and desktop for the storeHave working knowledge and expertise on implementing SEO techniquesHave aspiration to conduct client's ecommerce store's audit on the aspects of performance, SEO and UI / UXCollaborate with designers, developers, project managers and clients to estimate work hours and deliver high-quality projects on timeManage junior developers and their output quality. Train the team on Shopify platform and web development best practices

Skill & Experience

Minimum 4 year of strong experience on Shopify or similar platformWorked with over 20 to 30+ e-commerce businesses to set up and grow their online storesExpertise in Shopify Liquid template languageExpert in Shopify APIs and its usageREST API knowledgeFront-End (most are required) : React, HTML, CSS, Javascript. Knowledge of Shopify's liquid language, Shopify Theme development experience, or directly transferable experience from similar languages and an aptitude to quickly learn Liquid. Experience working on a live front-end for a high revenue-grossing e-commerce store strongly recommended.Back-End: NodeJS, Express, MySQL, Firebase, JSON with vs-deploy and vs-rest-api. Familiarity with learning and communicating with third-party REST API web services.Familiarity with Page load speed, A/B Testing, Conversion rate optimizationWorking knowledge in Custom Shopify APP developmentExperience in Shopify Theme developmentProven knowledge with Admin API and Storefront APIBackground in Product modeling and configuration via Shopify AdminUnderstanding of Product, Discount, Order APIs and customizations using the APIsAwareness of the Marketing Events, Discounts, Gift Cards and their configurations in ShopifyExperience with Shopify instance management and configurationKnowledge in data migration and synchronization between Shopify instancesExperience with code version/ branching tools like Git/SVNGood knowledge in AJAX/JQueryUsage of theme-kit or similar code push methodology experiencePrior experience with product/Customer/Order import Export managementSolid knowledge of performance Improvement best practicesImplementing SEO/CRO best practices on Shopify websitesExperience in SEO/CRO,, Google Analytics and Data & Pixel trackingFamiliarity with Shopify's API and webhooksExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsVery good understanding of responsive web design techniques and implementationExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
