Senior SQL Developer

On any given day you will...Code and design programs using relevant database languages (e.g., PL/SQL, T-SQL), following best practices and software engineering patterns.Collaborate with the team to understand client requirements.Create and contribute to the design of security layers to ensure role-based access to columns, tables, database schemas, and rows.Model the database in a manner that maximizes performance through effective normalization, indexing, partitioning, etc.Lead a team and mentor junior consultants for a segment of the project.Implement and apply testing and QA techniques, including Unit, Integration, Regression, and Performance Testing.Craft SQL queries to generate the most efficient execution plans, enhancing overall system efficiency.Implement Data Encryption and data masking methods for data at rest and in transit.Actively participate in designing the best approach to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Implement established processes/methods to generate solid evidence of the database model and high-level processes implemented during project development.Utilize available tools to conduct in-depth code analysis, identifying and resolving issues at their root cause.Estimate the complexity of tasks within the current scope of the project.

The ideal person...Proficiency in SQL and a profound understanding of database concepts, demonstrated through coursework or extensive practical experience.Effective communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.Proficiency in programming languages, development methodologies, and database administration.Strong skills in data manipulation, database administration, and programming.Profound knowledge of data encryption techniques and performance optimization strategies.Demonstrated leadership abilities, along with adaptability and a strong customer focus.Exceptional problem-solving skills and a commitment to teamwork and quality.Effective communication and planning capabilities.Strong adaptability and flexibility in dynamic project environments.Proficiency in data wrangling, development methodologies, programming, problem-solving, and teamwork.Experience in database administration, system performance optimization, leadership, customer focus, and adaptability.Excellent communication skills.
