Senior PHP Developer

About the role We are looking for a developer who is primarily skilled in PHP, Javascript, HTML5 and CSS3 with 5+ years of solid experience behind them.

Key Responsibilities ● Feature Development: Lead the ongoing development of new features and functionalities for our web applications, ensuring all code is written in PHP according to best practices and coding standards. ● PHP Version Management: Stay updated on the latest developments in PHP, including the upcoming upgrade to version 8.x. ● Database Management: Utilize your expertise in PostgreSQL to design, optimize, and maintain database schemas, queries, and performance. ● Knowledge in Perl: While primarily focused on PHP development, be capable of reading and understanding Perl scripts. ● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Leverage your knowledge of Python and Spark to collaborate with other teams on projects that involve these technologies. ● Unit Testing: While not mandatory, having knowledge of unit testing principles and practices is beneficial.
