Murex platform developer (onsite Portugal)

We're seeking a talented individual to join our team onsite in Portugal and take ownership of pre and post-trade workflows, MRA/MRB modules, and PL analysis. If you're well-versed in scripting, SQL, Unix/Linux environments, and a variety of programming languages including Java, Python, and more, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:Lead the implementation and optimization of Murex Datamart, MSL, and Exchange MXML modules.Drive pre and post-trade workflows, ensuring seamless operations and compliance.Utilize MRA/MRB modules to enhance risk management and regulatory reporting.Conduct PL analysis and simulation using advanced tools and techniques.Develop and maintain scripting solutions using Shell, Python, and other relevant languages.Leverage strong SQL (Oracle), PL SQL skills to extract, manipulate, and analyze data.Administer Unix/Linux environments and ensure smooth integration with Murex systems.Proficient in XSLT/XSL/XML/HTML for data transformation and presentation.Experience with SOAP for web service integration.Collaborate with development teams using Java, Maven, and GIT for version control.Provide expertise and support in troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Finance, or related field.Proven experience (X years) working with Murex platforms, particularly Datamart, MSL, and Exchange MXML.In-depth knowledge of pre and post-trade workflows in financial markets.Familiarity with MRA/MRB modules and their application in risk management.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on PL analysis and simulation.Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, etc.Advanced skills in SQL (Oracle), PL SQL for data extraction and analysis.Experience with Unix/Linux environments and command-line operations.Competency in XSLT/XSL/XML/HTML for data manipulation and presentation.Knowledge of SOAP for web service integration.Hands-on experience with Java, Maven, and GIT.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
