API Developer (Apigee) – Remote | Contract

A TekStream client, a healthcare technology company, has an immediate need for an API Developer with Apigee experience. This is a 100% remote long term contract. The Developer is responsible for the development and production support of the Apigee platform.

Requirements:5+ years of experience analyzing requirements and programming Mainframe or mid-tier applications Apigee development on cloud/on-prem and responsible for developing proxies – front end to the digital assets, that will work through the Apigee platformExperience coding healthcare insurance applications required; knowledge of claim or membership data and applications preferredExperience with CI/CD enginesGood communication skills (verbal and written) required and must be open to being on when the team collaborates face to face as needed Knowledge of the healthcare insurance industryExpert knowledge of the software development lifecycle using waterfall, agile, or iterative methodology
