Role Summary:Senior SQL Developer is a technical individual with hands-on experience in building data integration solutions. As part of the data-driven team, the role requires to analyze and build data integration solutions from relational and analytical data sources, build complex SQL code, and streamline and manage workloads through a scheduling and workload automation tool. The SQL developer is required to transform data according to Business Rules and work with the Enterprise Data Management team to assure attributes are properly governed and loaded for business consumption. The individual requires to be a self-starter and highly technical who will integrate and translate data from different sources to support data projects initiative by Data Architect, Application projects, and data operations support teams.
Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server ETL & Reporting:*Hands-on experience in Microsoft ETL/ELT & BI stack (SQL, SSIS, SSRS) to develop Data Integration and Reporting solutions as part of the continued development and maturing the Enterprise Data assets.*Develop, maintain, and support SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages related to the extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) process using Microsoft SQL Server.*Work with the Enterprise Data Management team to assure data is properly managed, validated, and curated and follow the data standards set by the Enterprise Data Governance process.*Ensure the Data Integration solution is aligned with the software development lifecycle processes and all artifacts and documentation have been created to support a seamless supply of data to the application and business teams.*Demonstrate advanced experience with ETL Methodologies, writing stored procedures, designing ETL audit control, scheduling processes and Project Management disciplines.*Experience working in an agile environment following sprint commitments and release schedules.*Drive and participate in all stages of the development life cycle, from concept to planning, to developing, to testing/debugging, to delivery.
REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.6+ years’ experience as a SQL and Database Developer.Extensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL development – ability to write and troubleshoot SQL code and design (stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints).Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS on SQL server, OLTP/OLAP,RDBMS design, dimensional modeling, SQL server, ETL and BI tools.With the organization strategy to modernize the data platform, experience in Microsoft Azure Data platform/Services such as ADF, ADLS, Synapse is preferable.Good analytical & problem-solving skills and interest in learning and applying new technologies.80% English level (spoken and written).
Important information:*Schedule: Mon - Fri, 5am - 2pm (flexible when/if in site).*Salary: $2,600 - $4,000 + quarterly potential bonus of $800
