Responsibilities:Perform configuration, integration, custom programming, and other hands-on technical activities concerning the implementation of ServiceNowParticipate in the full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Training, and Operational supportAssist in documenting requirements and aligning to existing ServiceNow capabilitiesAttend daily stand-ups and provides updates on previously planned work completion, as well as provides estimated times to completion for user stories/defects being workedPeer test other developers’ workBring potential roadblocks to lead developer as soon as possibleCommunicate/work with business analysts on requirements that need elaborationFollow project’s guidance/best practices/expectations
Requirements:Must hold an active secret clearance or willing to obtain one.5+ years’ experience in a Professional Services or software development environment.At least 2 years of experience as a developer (not just system administrator) on the ServiceNow platform.Service Portal development experience (building custom pages and widgets) is requiredCustom application development experience is preferredExperience performing configuration, integration, custom programming, and other hands-on technical activities in relation to the implementation of ServiceNowExperience eliciting requirements, and aligning to existing ServiceNow capabilitiesFamiliarity with Agile software development discipline and environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to varying stakeholder levelsProven experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and designing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platformExperience with the ITSM processes or in the following functional areas: CSM, HR, SecOps, ITOM, ITBM - SecOps, ITOM, ITBMFundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPSExperience with user interface (UI) technologies including: HTML, CSS, and Angular JSExperience with scripting in the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, etcExperience configuring web service system integrations preferred Is self-motivated / self-directed; capable of working a task to completion with minimal direction
