Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for a Rust Developer at Code & State (Venture Studio). The Rust Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining robust and efficient applications using the Rust programming language. The Rust Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions, write clean and modular code, and optimize application performance. They will also participate in code reviews, troubleshoot and debug issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

QualificationsProficiency in Rust programming languageExperience with web development frameworks and tools such as Rocket, Actix, or YewStrong understanding of systems programming and concurrency conceptsFamiliarity with databases and SQLExperience with version control systems, such as GitKnowledge of software testing and debugging techniquesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsGood communication and collaboration abilitiesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with other programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or GoKnowledge of front-end technologies like React and TypescriptUnderstanding of network protocols and security principlesAbility to work in an Agile development environmentContributions to open-source projects
