This role will have the primary accountability of producing technical content for our developers as well as managing and growing the Syndica community. Solana knowledge is a necessity!

A successful candidate must have demonstrable writing experience through blogs, technical publications, research papers, or similar data-driven content creation. You will be working closely with the Research and Marketing teams on developing the tone for engagement with the community across multiple channels. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive and user-friendly technical documentation, guides, and tutorials to assist developers in understanding and utilizing our blockchain platform. The ideal candidate will also have working knowledge of any coding language, preferably in Rust or Go.

ResponsibilitiesGenerate technical content in the form of blogs, documentation, and social mediaBe an active member of the developer community to understand developer needsCreate code samples, demos, and sample applications to showcase the capabilities of our platform and assist developers in their integration effortsServe as a public voice and leader with an ability to align all messaging and activities with the broader goals of the groupActively engage with our audience through Twitter, Telegram, Discord, etc.. and identify other opportunities to reach more developers in the web development communityDevelop comprehensive strategies that foster engagement across digital touchpointsContinuously update and improve existing documentation based on user feedback, platform updates, and industry best practicesCollect user feedback from the community and build upon new product solutions

Qualifications2+ years of proven experience in technical writing, preferably in blockchain (but not a requirement), with a strong portfolio showcasing documentation and tutorials Experience in developer relations, community management, or advocacy roles is a plusDemonstrable experience using Twitter, Telegram, and Discord to foster community engagementSolid understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, decentralized applications (dApps), and related conceptsExcellent communication skills across various formats for building and maintaining community relationshipsExcellent ability to explain complex concepts in a digestible formatTechnical background with some experience writing code and building web/mobile applicationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Communications or relevant experience

What does success in this role look like?In three months, you have demonstrated the ability to research and develop a healthy pipeline of technical blogs for publishing.In six months, you have become the go-to person for developers within the community on Twitter, Telegram, Discord, etc…In twelve months, you have established a cadence of expertise on technical development content, industry trends, and research with on-time delivery as well as having fostered a community of developer engagement.
