This engineer will collaborate with other teams in the organization to provide application, data, and platform solutions for those teams' while employing and expanding his/her understanding in n-tier modern application architectures, core technology, cloud solutions, client systems and ERP applications, networking, infrastructure, data centers, databases as well as web tools and technologies. Perform deep analysis into performance bottlenecks and provide necessary fixes. Work closely with our development and research teams and provide customer friendly solutions and support. Document and analyze requirements and propose design, development, and/or deployment of supporting systems. Must have good understanding of / have worked in n-tier packaged/custom applications implementations involving large Oracle database, fusion middleware, networking & load balancer setup. Must have exposure to Cloud Technologies & hands-on experience on various DevOps tools for configuration management, orchestration and development.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to engage in discussions with convincing technical arguments and whiteboard impactful prototypes. Ability to translate workload requirements into a technical architecture blueprint incorporating Compute, Networking, Storage and any other resources' requirements. Proven programming languages (Python/Shell Script/PERL preferred) and API usage and/or development expertise. Strong knowledge of Linux, command line tools and general problem solving. DevOps role exposure and strong hands-on experience on its tool stack. (GIT, Jira, Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.) Familiarity with Cloud-based environments is a plus. (AWS, Azure, GPC, OCI) Understanding of application security tools and services & application regulatory requirements. Solid understanding of WebLogic, SOA, etc. for identifying application performance issues is a plus.
