Role Purpose:
As a DOT NET and Sitecore Developer, you will lead the development of complex software solutions using the Microsoft DOT NET framework and Sitecore technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, architect scalable solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Your key responsibilities:
Sitecore DevelopmentDesign, develop, and maintain Sitecore-based web applications. Implement and customize Sitecore templates, layouts, and components. Manage and optimize content delivery through Sitecore CMS.
NET Development Develop, test, and maintain .NET web applications. Write clean and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards. Collaborate with the team to design and implement .NET solutions.
Integration Integrate external systems and services with Sitecore and .NET applications.Work with APIs and third-party integrations as needed.
Troubleshooting and Bug Fixing Diagnose and resolve issues in existing applications. Conduct testing and debugging to ensure optimal performance. Performance Optimization Identify opportunities for performance improvements and implement them. Monitor and optimize application performance.
Security Implement security best practices to protect web applications from vulnerabilities. Stay updated on the latest security threats and solutions.
Documentation Create and maintain technical documentation, including code comments and user guides.
Collaboration Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, front-end developers, and project managers. Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Skills and attributes for success
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. CONFIDENTIAL Proven 5+ years of experience as a Senior .NET and Sitecore Developer or similar role with a strong track record of delivering successful projects. Knowledge of best practices for Sitecore development, like Helix principles, modular architecture, and headless.Optimizing Sitecore performance, including database tuning and caching strategiesExperience in integration i.e., Sitecore with IDP, CRM, ERP, and third-party services using APIs, connectors, and custom integrations.Knowledge of deployment processes using tools like Azure DevOps “Nice to have.”Have experience in front-end development like react js, next js and angular etc.
