Senior .NET Developer

Job Description:

As a Senior .NET Developer, you will be a key member of our software development team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality applications using Microsoft's .NET framework. Your extensive experience in .NET technologies, software architecture, and best practices will play a pivotal role in delivering robust and scalable solutions that align with our business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and contribute to the advancement of our software products.

Responsibilities:

Software Development:

Design and develop feature-rich applications using C# and the .NET framework.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards.Create new features, modules, and enhancements to existing software.Technical Design and Architecture:

Collaborate with technical leads to create software architecture and design specifications.Ensure that design patterns, best practices, and coding standards are followed.Participate in architectural discussions and propose solutions for technical challenges.Code Review and Quality Assurance:

Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and consistency.Write unit tests and perform testing to identify and resolve bugs.Database Integration:

Develop database solutions using SQL Server or other relational databases.Design and optimize database schemas and queries for performance.API Development:

Build RESTful APIs and web services to support application functionality.Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth integration.Troubleshooting and Debugging:

Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.Debug and optimize code to improve application performance.Mentorship and Technical Leadership:

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers.Share expertise in .NET technologies and software development practices.Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA.Communicate effectively to gather requirements and provide status updates.Continuous Learning and Innovation:

Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in .NET development.Explore new tools, libraries, and frameworks to enhance development processes.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a .NET Developer, with at least 8 years in senior roles.Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework.Experience with ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, and Entity Framework.Solid understanding of software design principles and patterns.Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred:Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.Experience with .NET Core and microservices architecture.Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).Previous experience in a technical leadership or mentorship capacity.Contribution to open-source projects or technical publications.
