Job Title: AEM DeveloperLocation: RemoteJob Type: Contract
Responsibilities:Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, and workflows using front-end technologies such as Touch UI, Sightly, and Clientlibs.Implement AEM solutions using backend technologies including OSGi, JCR, Sling, and WCM APIs.Configure AEM for multi-site management and integrate AEM with other systems using API integration.Optimize AEM performance by tuning page performance, configuring Dispatcher caching, and optimizing queries.Set up infrastructure components such as cronjobs, Dispatcher, and Apache for AEM deployments.Implement AEM persistence using TarMK, MongoMK, and S3.Build and deploy AEM applications using Maven/Ant build tools, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.Handle production deployments, including exception handling, and troubleshoot issues as needed.Upgrade AEM versions, apply service packs and hotfixes, and perform pre-upgrade and post-upgrade processes.Analyze use cases for migration from non-CMS systems to AEM and implement headless CMS approaches when necessary.Integrate AEM with other technologies and follow coding best practices to ensure high-quality solutions.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an AEM Developer.Proficiency in Java programming language (3/5).Experience with AEM upgrade processes, including version upgrades and migration planning.Strong understanding of AEM architecture, components, and best practices.Hands-on experience with AEM backend technologies such as OSGi, JCR, Sling, and WCM APIs.Experience with front-end technologies including Touch UI, Sightly, and Clientlibs.Knowledge of AEM performance tuning, infrastructure setup, and deployment processes.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Maven/Ant build tools, and Jenkins.Experience with AEM persistence solutions like TarMK, MongoMK, and S3.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
