We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Backend Developer who is proficient in NodeJS and AWS to join our dynamic team. Position Overview: As a Backend Developer at Morfdesk, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and optimizing robust and scalable server-side applications. Collaborating closely with frontend developers and other cross-functional teams, you will transform conceptual architectures into seamless backend functionalities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for backend development, a deep understanding of data management, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality, efficient code.

Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable and efficient backend services using NodeJS.Deploy and maintain applications on AWS, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.Work closely with the frontend developers and other team members to integrate APIs and services.Manage serverless operations on AWS using Lambda, API Gateway, and other services.Implement robust security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions in line with AWS best practices.Participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and ensure code quality and best practices.Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.Engage in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and optimization.Contribute to the creation of scalable architecture and the integration of third-party services and APIs.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Demonstrated 2-5 years of professional backend development experience, supported by a solid portfolio of diverse backend projects.Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js) and hands-on experience with backend frameworks.Sound understanding of data management, databases, and data storage solutions.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address and optimize backend performance issues.Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.Familiarity with frontend technologies and API integration.Experience with Test Driven Development is a plus.Experience with AWS, particularly ec2, ecs, s3, rds, lambda, route 53 etcExperiences with ci/cd pipelines is a plus.Experience with Terraform is plus.
