Frontend Developer

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior front-end developer to help build software as an easy-to-use product for our customers. As a Senior front-end developer, you will be responsible for the user interface of our web applications and websites. You will focus on turning wireframes and mock-ups into reusable code and building high-quality UI components with scalability in mind. You should be able to design and implement pixel-perfect user interface elements that meet software requirements. You will work with a highly skilled and motivated delivery team of Product Owners, Tech Leads, and Software Engineers passionate about imagining, testing, building, and deploying valuable products. In this role, you will create and lead the design of multi-platform, cross-functional, and customer-facing applications.Our ideal candidate is responsible for taking the requirements and breaking them down into concrete tasks to implement and then effectively collaborating with team members to complete and build the larger visions.

Responsibilities:

Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.Re-create a layout design while keeping the desired UX/UI outcome consistent.Build web applications with web development best practices using high-quality and reusable code.Monitor app performance, watch for errors related to site usability problems, and rectify any issues.Run code optimization tools and analyzers to spot refactor inefficiencies to create highly performant code.Transform app designs into front-end code with React.js, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.Work in a multidisciplinary team with other professionals such as back-end developers, UX/UI designers, and DBA and assist with coding and troubleshooting.Optimize our web applications for maximum speed and scalability.Stay up to date on emerging technologies and industry trends.Maintain and improve the website within brand guidelines.Assist in creating or updating technical documentation and code reviews.Participate in daily stand-up activities to closely monitor work against schedules and deliverables, provide progress updates, and report any issues.Ensure the best possible performance, quality, security, high availability, and responsiveness of applications up-time, data availability, and platform performance.Contribute to architecting solutions to the complex problems of a high volume, big dataset environment.Within a short ramp-up period, you will be expected to make major contributions to the product's development across the front-end stack.You will work on executing various user stories from the product's backlog, assisting in the completion of those tasks within the agreed timeline and in accordance with the story's acceptance criteria.

Qualifications required for this position:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related fieldiOS and Android Development (must have expertise)Hands-on experience with app store releases6+ years of experience with implementing responsive UI/UX designs utilizing HTML5, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS/LESS/SASS, and style components.3+ years experience in SaaS application developmentExperience developing front-end software, with deep experience in React.js.Strong knowledge of Node.js, ES6, and Webpack.Development experience with agile/SCRUM methodology.Familiarity with Git source code management.Experience consuming REST & SOAP API.Experience building scalable, highly available web services or applications.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to various audiences.Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts clearly and persuasively across diverse audiences at various levels of our organization.Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.Experience testing websites and software on various platforms including iOS and Android mobile devices.Ability to work with developers to implement new ideas.Experience with working in a global team setup and multi-team collaboration environment.
