We are looking for a DoD SkillBridge Software CNO Developer to join our team. In this role, your training plan will support our Customer in developing a cross-domain data transfer and system integration solution. If required, you may need to travel to customer sites within the continental US, and you will be expected to provide exceptional customer service in high-pressure situations.
SkillBridge Qualifications:
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR DOD SKILLBRIDGE JOB OPPORTUNITES YOU MUST BE AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE U.S. MILITARY WITH 180 DAYS OF SERVICE OR FEWER REMAINING PRIOR TO YOUR DATE OF SEPARATION AND HAVE AT LEAST 180 CONTINUOUS DAYS OF ACTIVE SERVICE.
Separating from service within 180 days. Receive Command Approval for SkillBridge participation. Must be accepted into the Hiring our Heroes (HOH) cohort. Interest and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. High school diploma or equivalent required and (six) 6 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to work independently or under generalized supervision with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
Learning/Training Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the customer's requirements for the team product and how it functions within the larger ecosystem. Gain knowledge of the project's policies, procedures, and change management plan. Familiarize yourself with the technologies used by the team product and explore alternative implementations and solutions. Create, implement, test, document, and support features, product capabilities, and data processing methods to ensure the highest levels of information system security. Collaborate with Product Owner/Scrum Master, team leads, and other team members to meet or exceed customer requirements. Perform maintenance tasks on existing products.
Basic Qualifications:
Proficiency in Python and C/C++ programming. Experience in troubleshooting and debugging. Strong networking (TCP/IP) and socket level programming skills. Analytical and critical thinking abilities. Experience in CNO capability development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of software analysis and reverse engineering. Familiarity with low-level internals in areas such as Windows, Unix, Mobile, or Network devices. Experience in unit and/or system testing. Proficiency in using Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence, Crucible). Open Source/Internet research skills. Software development expertise in C, C++, and assembler (especially x86, ARM, MIPS, PowerPC). Ability to reverse engineer software/firmware binaries using tools like Ghidra or IDA, and proficiency in using debuggers. Exposure or willingness to learn hardware breakdown, soldering, board analysis, etc.
Security Requirements:
Ability to obtain or currently hold a TS/SCI Clearance.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to remain stationary for extended periods (50% of the time) and operate computer equipment and office machinery. Regular communication with co-workers, management, and customers.
