Job Title: L3 Ansible Developer/Engineer

Location: Remote

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Job Description:

Candidate requirements/preferences:

Good communication skills

Needs to be able to interface both technical with internal team and functionally with stakeholders

Needs to be able to create clear documentation on implemented solutions

Strong technical experience with Ansible

Looking for at least several years of experience

Some sort of Linux system administrator background/experience

Many of our current use cases are at the OS and DB level so experience in these areas is desired

Business analyst mindset

Asking the right questions up front to get requirements from stakeholders

Generating a functional description of the project goal

Git version control

We currently use GitLab experience preferred but not required so long as they are comfortable with Git version control

PowerShell Experience Not Required But Appreciated

Candidate Requirements:

Strong experience with Ansible playbook development and automation (minimum several years). Proficient in Linux system administration. Experience with OS and database-level automation is preferred. Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and research skills. Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Business analyst mindset with a focus on gathering and documenting requirements. Familiarity with Git version control; experience with GitLab is a plus. Self-guided learning capability with minimal supervision. PowerShell experience is beneficial but not required.
