This contract position will be 100% remote (US ONLY)

Contractor shall update and document Java coding and style standards for EPICS software development to include addressing web application security issues and best programming practices. Contractor shall perform code maintenance of the role-based matrices to include designing a solution, to incorporate any additional requirements and changes. Technical implementation of applications, screens, content management, and their specific privileges and operations for specified EPICS users. Contractor shall perform code maintenance and integrate software solutions to address IR/CR tasks according to requirements using the following technology and tools, but not limited to: Server-side EJB 3.1 components using JPA, EJB, CDI and JAX-WS; UI components using JSF, CDI, Richfaces, JQuery, XHTML, Facelets and CSS; reporting using Jasper 7.x; Eclipse IDE. Contractor shall perform web design for EPICS software development using Procuring Agency s web infrastructure including, but not limited to: MySQL 8.x and JBoss EAP 7.x.Contractor shall maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and continuous integration processes.Contractor shall troubleshoot and fix production issues in Kubernetes(AKS) environments as they come up.Contractor shall maintain and enhance docker based java applications that use application server containers(JBoss preferred).Experience with integration using REST/SOAP APIs.
