Role Description

This is a Java Developer contract role which will be performed remotely. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining high-performing web-based applications. The candidate will be required to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the business needs and provide customised solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field3+ years of experience in developing Java applications within a team environmentStrong proficiency in core Java, J2EE, and RESTful web servicesExperience with software development methodologies such as Agile, Test Driven Development (TDD) and/or Continuous Integration (CI) conceptsAbility to work both independently and in collaborative teamsExperience with Spring, Hibernate and other related frameworksExperience with database technologies (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical teams
