Company DescriptionLighko is a company dedicated to developing a phone using Android 11. Our team of Android developers is focused on creating basic apps such as messaging, gallery, camera, weather, calendar, and more. As our phone has physical buttons, we need to develop these apps ourselves to ensure they can interact with these buttons effectively.

Role DescriptionThis is a part-time remote role for an Android Developer at Lighko. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications for our unique phone, including creating apps from scratch. Day-to-day tasks include designing and implementing Android user interfaces, developing new features, troubleshooting, debugging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications5+ years of experience in Native Android DevelopmentStrong knowledge of Java and Kotlin programming languagesFamiliarity with Android Studio and other relevant development toolsAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work in an agile environmentExcellent problem-solving and debugging skillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldKnowledge of UX/UI principles and user-centered design is beneficialAble to join Immediately.
