Position Summary

We are looking for a JavaScript developer who is proficient with HTML, CSS, JQuery, React.js

Good understanding of JSON data manipulation Techniques Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Team player Good time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skill Experience in JavaScript build tools Expert in any one of the modern JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS, JQuery, NodeJS) Familiar with testing frameworks

Responsibilities

JavaScript Development: Write JavaScript code to integrate D3.js into web applications, manipulating and rendering data-driven visualizations in real time Data Manipulation: Prepare and transform data for visualization, including cleaning, formatting, and structuring JSON data. Interactivity: Implement interactive features, such as tooltips, zooming, panning, and filtering, to enhance user engagement with data visualizations Developing new user-facing features using React.js Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

Skills

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Bitbucket Familiarity with Node.js to write backend API Familiarity with D3.js will be a plus (+). Data Visualization: Use D3.js to create visually appealing and interactive data visualizations that effectively convey complex data and insights to users

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in computer science. Essential skills: JavaScript / React (will be a plus) Desirable skills HTML5, and JavaScript, knowledge of databases and operating systems. Basic knowledge of development tools such as Git / Bitbucket 1+ year experience in a commercial environment Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly. Ability to work in a team environment. Detail-oriented.
