OVERVIEW:Hey, I'm Will — Rumor has it I'm Colorado's #1 Most Bald-est 👨‍🦲 Dev Recruiter, and I'm excited to be representing yet another well established, but growing startup that is eager to hire a REMOTE (US) Senior ML / Python Developer to join a 5 person data team and run point on a owning an established, but growing Machine Learning / AI Algorithm. My client serves the HealthTech industry with a deep-rooted, loyal (and growing!) customer base, and far outclass their peers with some pretty unique tech in an established industry. They are far past the "scrappy startup" phase, MEANING they believe in family and personal values and in work life balance - they expect that you value your life outside of work, and leadership models this as well

***Notable experience with Machine Learning and Python, are REQUIRED.

SALARY: This role is budgeted for 120k-170k salary (Potentially a bit more, depending on experience)

LOCATION: This position is fully remote, with fully distributed dev teams all across the US. They do have an HQ in Denver and another in SF, but again, no on-site is required.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to hit the ground running with Python API development (e.g. FastAPI)Strong experience with Machine Learning / Deep Learning frameworks (like TensorFlow, Torch, SageMaker, etc)Aptitude for the modern ML, AI, and Data Science principles and the ability to manage and grow ML delivery APIsAbility to spearhead new Machine Learning model developmentComfort in working with AWS (i.e. RDS, S3, Lambda, SNS, or SQS)Production experience with containerization (e.g. Docker), CI / CD tools, as well as various Databases, specifically PostgreSQL and Snowflake, and REST & gRPC APIs etcBONUS/NICE TO HAVE: Some past experience with other backend technologies (like Go or Ruby) and/or some front end technologies (like TypeScript or React)

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU:Our client is looking to hired an ML specialist to join a ~5 person data team and act as that teams SME on all things Machine Learning and Python. You would spend about 80% - 90% of your will be spent in and around Python and ML, and more specifically YOU will be critical in helping clear out a ML / Python related backlog for some established model development and growth. After the ~9 month backlog is clear, you will help them grow out a couple of new greenfield projects that are set to keep this company on the bleeding edge of their field, particularly as it relates to Machine Learning.
