Summary:Use Web development technologies such as Python, Javascript, React and ideally other languages.C++ or Java experienceInteractive graphics in a web application worked with Plotly, d3.js, Svelvet.Perform various coding and programming tasks, such as design or development of Web front-end, back-end Web-based applications, and Web/Internet services. May involve coding and integration of text, graphics, sound, and/or video. Conducts routine tasks as directed. Closely supervised with little latitude for independent judgment.Typically requires up to three years of relevant experience.

Hiring Manager's Note:

Two things we are looking for which may be outside the scope of a standard web developer. First, it would be useful if our candidate had an in-depth computer science background — a degree in computer science and at least some professional experience working in other languages like C++ or Java. Second, someone who has experience with interactive graphics in a web application — like someone who’s worked with Plotly, d3.js, Svelvet. Our web development needs all involve interacting with graphical UI elements, rather than the typical web page of text and images
