Responsibilities and Duties Provide database administration services, including script and instance creation, modeling, modification, copying schemas, tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, triggers, and integrity constraints for moderate to complex issues and systems. Participate and collaborate in assigned application and integration projects, including attending client meetings. Maintain project team leads and clients up to date on progress of integration work. Maintain, and support deployment and monitoring of moderate to complex database systems. Plan and conduct database system tests and implement corrective actions to ensure all database servers meet or exceed documented service levels. Configure and customize moderate to complex search features, queries, and solutions. Create, manage, modify, and/or convert SQL reports, extracts, or ETLs. Recommend, document, and communicate administration best practices for data integrity to internal and external clients. Monitor database performance metrics. Perform additional duties related to data and databases as required. During the participation in meetings with clients, the candidate must be willing to provide solutions, red flags and observations this person may visualize during project implementation/evaluation, etc. Skills and Qualifications BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree 3 to 7 years of experience with SQL and XML Experienced with data conversions and integrations Experience with the following tools: PostgreSQL SQL Server XML JSON (basics) PowerShell (basics) Familiarity with using Webhooks and APIs No on-call responsibilities; occasional overtime may be required.Ability to come up with simple solutions to complex problems Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working on fast-paced implementation projects Ability to manage multiple implementations projects simultaneously (Preferred) Advanced degree in Computer Science Knowledge of the legal industry and law firms a plus
