Job Requirements/Description:-As a Senior Golang Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of applications using the Go programming language. You will be a key contributor to the project, implementing robust, scalable, and efficient systems in a distributed, event-driven architecture.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain scalable and robust applications using GoImplement concurrency using Goroutines and Channel patternsWork within a distributed architecture, utilizing tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub ActionsIntegrate and manage messaging systems, preferably NATS, though experience with Kafka or similar is also valuableCollaborate closely in a small, agile team environment to deliver high-quality software solutionsEmploy event-driven architecture principles to ensure responsive and effective applicationsOptimize applications for maximum speed and scalabilityDocument all development processes, code changes, and other technical detailsRequired Skills and Qualifications:Proficiency in Go programming, with a strong understanding of its concurrency principlesExperience with Viper and Cobra for application configuration and command-line applicationsProficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub ActionsExperience in development within a distributed, event-driven architectureFamiliarity with AWS and cloud infrastructure conceptsStrong experience with messaging systems, with a preference for NATSDesire to work in a highly collaborative team environmentDifferential Skills:Knowledge of Rego and OPA for policy-based control across the cloud-native stackAdditional experience with NATS.ioAdditional experience with Fly.ioProfessional experience in the insurance industryIdeal Candidate Attributes:Comfortable with asynchronous developmentComprehensive understanding of network deployment and general DevOps processesAbility to adapt quickly to new technologies and challenges
