Senior Front End Developer (React.js)

Job Overview:We are looking for a seasoned Front End Software Engineer to join our vibrant startup at a seed stage, contributing to rapid product growth with innovative solutions. This role demands a blend of technical leadership and hands-on coding, allowing you to shape the future of our product and impact our growing community.Responsibilities:Build and launch features from start to finish, beginning with Figma UX designs and collaborating closely with product owners to spec, build, test, launch, and refine features.Continuously improve and iterate upon existing features based on A/B testing results and user feedback.Contribute to maintaining the team’s high impact on our community through proactive engagement and quality enhancements.Play a key role in strategic planning sessions to guide the future direction of both the product and the business.Requirements:Minimum 8 years of experience in front end web development.At least 4 years of hands-on experience with React and TypeScript.Proven track record of developing responsive designs and interfacing with GraphQL and REST APIs (6+ years required).Extensive experience in frontend automated testing frameworks such as Jest or similar (6+ years required).Proficiency in developing from Figma or Zeplin designs.Demonstrated ability to work as both an individual contributor and technical leader within a small, dynamic team.Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technology.Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to balance rapid development with high-quality outputs.Nice to Have:Experience with Material UI.Familiarity with D3 or other graphing libraries.Experience with NodeJS APIs.Knowledge of internationalization best practices.Development experience using feature flags.This Role Is for You If:You have a deep love for problem-solving with code and are eager to drive innovation in a fast-paced startup environment.You possess the ambition and skills necessary to contribute significantly to a seed stage software startup.You are looking for an opportunity to play a pivotal role in product development and influence business outcomes.
