About the Role:

Job Title: Sr. Edifecs Developer

Day to Day:

Ascendion is looking for a Edifecs Developer to focus on upcoming 837 EDI work for an encounters group.This role will help validate HIPPA transactions translating it to XML and placing them on kafka topics

Must Haves:

5+ years’ experience as a software engineer specializing in x12 Healthcare Transactions, including 837, 277CA, 999, TA1 for software system implementation, including development, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.5+ years’ experience with EDIFECS Software including XES Manager, Edifecs Application Manager (EAM), Transaction Manager, and Profile Manager to develop code, test, deploy, debug, support production, and performance-tune in multiple environments.3+ years’ experience using Kafka, JDMC, JMS, XML, XPATH, XSD, and JSON technologies to conduct full-stack development to build routes for EDI transactions, and develop code for complex business logic.Preferred experience developing software applications following the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile Methodology.Healthcare background

Location: Remote

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $95,000 - $110,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skill, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
