SQL developer

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL.Investigate exceptions concerning asset movements, using SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and HighJump.Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.Build and maintain SQL scripts, indexes, and complex queries for data analysis and extraction.Provide technical assistance and cross-training to other team members.Design and create data storage objects and data input parameters to support the use of Business Intelligence tools.Manage and maintain data in Microsoft SQL Server environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.Ensure all database systems meet business and performance requirements.Produce ad-hoc queries and develop reports to support business needs.Creation and maintenance of technical documentation.Implementation of data dashboards to display data in differing formats.

Job Details

Qualifications:

A minimum of 8+ years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role.Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming.Experience with HighJump, SSRS, and SSIS.Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server.Good knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.Experience with Transparent Data Encryption (TDE).Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.Familiarity with the practical application of NoSQL\NewSQL databases.Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.Team player.Good time-management skills.Great interpersonal and communication skills.BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
