This full-time, remote position is available to candidates across the United States, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere with standard working hours between 9-5pm or 10-6pm. Kaynes is open to both contract and regular employment arrangements, seeking the best match for our team and the candidate's career goals.

Your Role:As a Node.js Developer at Kaynes, you will be instrumental in developing high-performance, scalable, and robust server-side logic. You will play a critical role in the design and implementation of our backend applications, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness to front-end requests. Working closely with our team of developers and designers, you will contribute to the entire application lifecycle, from concept to deployment, and help shape the future of our innovative software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:Design and implement efficient, reusable, and reliable Node.js code.Build high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.Implement security and data protection measures.Integrate data storage solutions, including databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.Work closely with front-end developers on the integration of elements.Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.Contribute to the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Technical Requirements:Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.Thorough understanding of Node.js and frameworks available for it, such as Express.Familiarity with RESTful APIs and API Communications.Understanding of asynchronous programming including callbacks, promises, and async/await.Experience with user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.Familiarity with modern build pipelines and tools.

Experience:2+ years of Node.js development experience.Proven track record of developing and managing high-traffic, large-scale web applications.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
