Principal Developer Advocate

The Opentensor Foundation is on the lookout for a Principal Developer Advocate to be an integral part of our mission, focusing on promoting and advancing the understanding and adoption of decentralized AI within the developer community. This role is crucial for fostering a strong, knowledgeable, and engaged developer community around Bittensor, providing technical guidance, and showcasing the benefits and opportunities of decentralized AI technology.

Key ResponsibilitiesCommunity Engagement: Act as the primary technical liaison between the Opentensor Foundation and the global developer community. Engage with developers through various channels, including social media, forums, and events, to build a vibrant and supportive ecosystem around Bittensor.Technical Evangelism: Champion the adoption of Bittensor among developers by creating and sharing high-quality, informative content such as tutorials, code samples, and best practices. Highlight the unique benefits and applications of decentralized AI to inspire and educate developers.Feedback Loop: Serve as the voice of the developer community within the Opentensor Foundation. Gather and relay feedback from developers to inform product development, ensuring that Bittensor evolves in response to community needs and challenges.Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with key influencers, organizations, and technology partners in the AI and developer communities. Identify and pursue opportunities for collaboration, sponsorship, and co-creation of content to expand Bittensor's reach and impact.

Required QualificationsEducational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Technical Expertise: Strong technical foundation with a deep understanding of AI, machine learning, and data science concepts.Developer Advocacy Experience: Proven track record as a developer advocate, evangelist, or in a similar role, with the ability to engage and grow developer communities.Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, adept at creating technical content (blogs, tutorials, code samples) that resonates with developers.Interpersonal Skills: Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with developers, industry partners, and influencers.
