A bit about the role:This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a large financial services organisation!As a MuleSoft Developer, you will use your technical experience in Integration, APIs, Micro-services and DevOps to empower our clients engineering teams to build the best software possible.You will be a key part of a dedicated specialist team of consultants to deliver lean augmentation with deep subject matter expertise in your specialist areas. You’ll solve complex technical problems at the highest level and remain hands on with coding and tools while taking a consultative approach to integration architecture and DevOps strategies for clients.

A bit about you:You’ll be an experienced well rounded software integration professional who can easily pivot between hands-on tactical execution, architecture, problem solving and longer-term thinking. In this role you need to be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get hands on to get things done in technically complex, fast-paced, changing agile environments, whilst being consultative and interacting with clients.You are a high achiever who thrives on challenge, leans into complexity, and are ready to be in a highly collaborative team that punches above its weight in terms technical expertise and delivery.

You will have:At least 3 years in software integration engineering positions, working on APIs, Micro-services, cloud implementations and DevOps technology with the following skills and experience:

Hands on MuleSoft API integration experienceAPI development and consumption of REST API’sStrong coding experience with a passion for quality code and solving complex development problems while pushing technical boundaries.Good knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD principles and Azure/AWS cloud platformsArchitectural knowledge in event driven architecture, cloud platforms and API's/integration.Experience with Python and Shell scriptingSource code management tools Git/BitbucketEffective communication, consulting and documentation skillsExperience with Java, Spring Boot, SOAP, web and network protocols, security/identity, QA, performance tuning and capacity planning is ideal.
