Senior iOS Software Developer

Contract / Remote / Inside IR35 / 6 months

Tomorrow in association with a Global Digital Media Business, is seeking an experienced Senior iOS Software Developer to join our mobile development team. In this role, you'll be responsible for implementing UI and logic changes, reviewing and approving code, refactoring complex codebases, migrating code from Objective-C to Swift, performance tuning, writing unit and end-to-end tests, and fixing bugs.

Responsibilities:

• Implement UI and logic changes according to specifications- Review and approve code contributions from other developers- Refactor and optimise complex codebases for better maintainability and performance- Migrate existing Objective-C code and logic to Swift- Optimise app performance through profiling and tuning- Write comprehensive unit and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality- Investigate and resolve reported bugs and issues

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in iOS development using Swift and Objective-C- Solid understanding of iOS design patterns, architectures, and best practices- Experience with performance optimisation and UI/UX design- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively- Strong mentoring skills to provide guidance and feedback to junior developers- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of tooling (Visual Studio, Mercurial, etc.)- Experience with UI animations and performance tuning
