Algorithm Developer

Job Title: Algorithms DeveloperJob Location: Remote Primary Responsibilities:· Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging algorithms for supply chain planning· Write well-designed, scalable, and testable code with unit tests and integration tests· Maintain and develop scalable supply chain planning algorithms· Maintain and develop data model to support supply chain planning data· Collaborate with the development of new features, enhancements and fix existing system bugs· Analyze existing code to understand performance impact and propose solutions· Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems· Keep on top of new technologies and algorithms· Interact with BA's, QA's and other peer to clarify business requirements· Engage and learn about complex business rules related to supply chain planning· Support demo development activities· Provide training and support to internal teams Qualifications / Skills / Competencies· BS/MS/PhD in Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics/Statistics or a related field; Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research educational backgrounds will be applicable as well with appropriate experience· 5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application in development of enterprise software systems. C++ experience a plus· Proficiency in PostgreSQL and other DBMs· Experience in parallel programming, distributed algorithms, distributed resource management systems
