Senior Android Developer

Job Title: Senior Android DeveloperClient Location: UK(Remote)Starting: AsapPay Rate: £376-£419 per day(PAYE Inside IR35)Duration: 6 months

Job Responsibilities:• Implement UI and logic changes according to spec• Reviewing and approving code• Refactoring complex code• Suggesting architectural designs and implementation• Performance tuning• Writing unit and end to end tests• Bug fixing

Required Skills:• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.• Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.• Strong mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.• Strong knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.• Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Android Studio

Nice to Have Skills:• Knowledge of tools (Visual Studio, Hack, Mercurial, etc)• Experience with UI animations and performance tuning

Education:• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.
