We are seeking an expert WordPress Developer to join our team, with a strong focus on plugin development and management. This role requires a deep understanding of WordPress plugins to enhance website functionality and user experience. You'll be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating custom WordPress plugins and themes.
Responsibilities:- Design and implement new features, functionalities, and custom plugins.- Ensure high-performance of the website and manage all technical aspects of the CMS.- Work closely with our design team to integrate aesthetic elements into our website projects.- Conduct detailed performance tests on new and existing plugins and troubleshoot content issues.- Monitor and enhance the performance of the live website, focusing on continuous improvement through effective plugin management.- Develop and maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferable code, especially for WordPress plugins.- Collaborate with team members to devise new and effective content strategies tailored to our plugins.
Skills and Qualifications:- Advanced knowledge of WordPress plugin ecosystem, custom plugin development, configuration, and optimization.- Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.- Excellent understanding of PHP back-end development, specifically within WordPress contexts.- Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.- Proficient with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc., particularly for plugins.- Capable of implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests for plugins.- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).- Familiarity with website optimization tools with a focus on plugins.
Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience.- Atleast 2 years of experience in WordPress development, particularly with custom plugins.
