Sr NodeJS Developer

We are looking for Sr level NodeJS Developer to join our growing backend team at Appcent.

QualificationsBachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline (preferable but not essential).Min 5+ years of professional software development experience within the industry and proven track record of delivering projects.Strong backend experience with Node.js and relevant frameworks (e.g. Express.js, Nest.js and related technologies).Excellent skills/experience with the Javascript/Typescript language.Experience in fintech.Strong experience working with REST APIs (other standards nice to have, e.g. GraphQL).Experience working with microservices architecture.Experience with relational and No SQL databases.High proficiency with Git plus decent experience with build tools, CI/CD and Devops processes.Understanding of Docker and KubernetesDecent/reasonable understanding of Cloud Services (e.g. Firebase, AWS and working with associated services).Preferable to have solid knowledge of higher-level software engineering principles and design patterns (e.g. SOLID, OOP, FP, etc).Knowledge of the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing tools, and operations.Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
