Our client is a discrete startup venture, backed by prominent funds and individuals in distributed systems engineering, specializing in cryptography and game theory applied in innovative contexts.
ScopeDesign and implement L2 solutions, focusing on decentralized sequencers and SVM rollup execution environments within the Solana ecosystem.Lead engineering efforts in optimizing the codebase for enhanced scalability and security, particularly within rollup and sequencer infrastructures.Develop and oversee adversarial testing strategies to identify vulnerabilities within core system components and ensure resilience against sophisticated attacks.Automate security testing processes, creating innovative tools and frameworks for continuously improving systems.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive adoption of L2 solutions, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
Best CandidateProficiency in English is essential.Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, with practical experience in blockchain systems.Minimum five years of experience in blockchain engineering, with a deep technical understanding of L2 architectures, including optimistic and zero-knowledge rollups.Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Rust and C++, emphasizing secure coding practices and vulnerability assessment.Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable distributed systems, with preference for those who have worked directly with the Solana codebase.Analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate and mitigate emerging security threats, leveraging a comprehensive understanding of the blockchain landscape.Direct involvement in the Solana ecosystem, with contributions to Solana’s runtime, scheduler, or other core systems.
