Android Developer

Role OverviewAs an Android Developer at Box Box Club, you will play a crucial role in assisting our tech team in crafting and managing our Android apps. You can unleash your creativity, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to projects showcasing your talent to a broad audience. This job role will provide valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with other engineers and developers in the technology team to conceptualize the software requirements into functional features in the Android apps.Stay updated on industry trends & best practices in app development to improve our apps’ quality and stability.Work closely with designers, marketers, and other team members to ensure enhanced user experience.Support the team in various programming tasks, including resolving issues, code optimisation, UI/UX development, and architectural design patterns implementation in the shared code.Contribute fresh ideas and innovative solutions to enhance our mobile apps’ presence among our users and attract new ones.

Qualifications:2–3 years of experience in Android application development with Kotlin. Experience with Jetpack compose and other Jetpack libraries is a huge plus.Strong interest in every aspect of mobile app development such as UI/UX development, architectural design patterns, data storage, client-to-server communication, etc.Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and feedback.A degree in Software development, engineering, or a related field is a plus.A link to a GitHub or GitLab account showcasing your coding skills is a plus.A portfolio of mobile apps you have worked on, available on the Google Play Store, is a plus.
