Intermediate .NET Developer

We currently have agreements with many corporate travel agencies and are already serving millions of travellers across North America.We are looking for an Intermediate .Net Developer to join our growing team. Reporting to the Head of Technology, you will be responsible for managing the entire software life-cycle from concept design through to implementation and application maintenance.

As an Intermediate .Net Developer you will:

Develop and maintain complex software systems using .Net applications and resolve issues - coordinate with QA team to escalate problemsWrite well-designed, scalable, and testable codeAnalyze existing code to understand performance impact and propose solutionsUtilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions Create efficient and logical solution designsUpgrade existing .NET websites and applicationsTroubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systemsPrepare test based applications for various .Net applicationsDocument development and operational proceduresResearch best practices, emerging technologies, new programming languages, and industry developments, and incorporate them into existing software

Skills and Qualifications:

3 or more years commercial experience in Microsoft .NET Core 6+ platform development3 or more years of experience developing micro-services architectures using .NET with Web API's Experience with object oriented and relational database modeling Experience with integrating external , 3rd party API’s Experience with .NET DI Frameworks and ORM's (Entity Framework) Experience with REST and SOAP Services. Ability to complete all phases of the software cycle including analysis, design, functionality, testing and supportProven ability to learn quickly, multi-task and handle pressure to meet tight deadlinesProven ability to take personal ownership of an issue and get the job doneAbility to immerse into the workings of disruptive product platforms Possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Resourceful research and problem solving skills Must be extremely detail-oriented, accurate and efficient Good time management skills with the ability to multitask Ability to work individually and as part of a team

Nice to Have:

Experience working with one of Sabre, Travelport, or Amadeus API’s Experience working in the corporate travel industryExperience with caching libraries (Aerospike, Redis) Experience with deploying apps on the cloud (Azure, AWS) Experience with Push Frameworks (SignalR, Websockets) Experience with queue systems and frameworks (rabbitmq, masstransit)
