About the Role

We are looking for a full-stack software engineer who has experience building or working on large software systems in Javascript. Most importantly, we are looking for a professional who is accountable for his work and actions, takes an active interest in learning and progressing his career, and feels at home in a friendly startup environment. Due to the fact that we are such a young company, it is important that he is a self-starter who is not afraid to get right down to work, and ask whatever questions needed along the way.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop high-quality applications in small teams with Front End, Mendix and BI technology DeduceDevelop application workflows and application logicCreate integration interfaces via Web ServicesDesign and develop functionalities within the context of the deliverable application Produce documentation of either or, user manuals, (non-)functional application requirements, business processes, work flows, project plans and planning, systems architecture, etc. Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutionsDesign client-side and server-side architectureBuild the front-end of applications through appealing visual designDevelop and manage well-functioning databases and applications Write effective APIs Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiencyTroubleshoot, debug and upgrade softwareCreate security and data protection settingsBuild features and applications with a mobile responsive design

Requirements

Proven experience as a Java Full Stack Developer or similar roleExperience developing desktop and mobile applicationsFamiliarity with common stacks Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React)Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX designExcellent communication and teamwork skillsGreat attention to detail Experience in customer-facing environments, with daily customer interactionFamiliar with Agile practicesCan work with a fixed shift schedule (Schedule will be determined by the manager)
