We are trending on the VS Code marketplace, with over 400 installs within two weeks of our alpha announcement! We are looking for a talented Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering core features inside Traycer's VS Code extension and Traycer's Cloud backend service. Traycer is a fast-paced startup environment. Each team member must operate based on high-level goals without detailed technical specs.Responsibilities:Develop new features for Traycer's AI coding assistantDesign, develop, and maintain high-performance code for Traycer's VS Code extension written in TypeScript.You must be good at writing concurrent, high-performance code.Familiarity with CPU and memory profiling tools is a plusIdentify and fix performance bottlenecks and bugs.Ensure the scalability and reliability of our backend systems.Work autonomously to translate high-level goals into actionable tasks and deliverables.Qualifications:Strong experience in backend development, particularly with TypeScript, Go, or Rust.Proven track record of writing complex, high-performance concurrent code.Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is highly desirable.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong understanding of software development best practices, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Familiarity with AI-powered coding tools is a plus.Why Join Traycer?
