Position Overview: As a Data Visualization Developer, primary responsibility is to create impactful, dynamic, and insightful healthcare data analytics for ComplexCare Solutions platform using our enterprise data sets. They will be part of the team which is building next generation data & reporting platform. This platform will cater internal business stakeholders and external customers to provide insights & forecasting to understand current state of business, improve decision-making for their tactical and strategic goals & KPIs. This position may require independent work, sharing information and assisting others with work request.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with the agile team to participate in agile ceremonies like grooming, planning, standup, retrospective, demosPlans, identifies, and designs data integration strategies, develops intuitive designs, and builds enterprise interactive dashboards with built in guided healthcare data analytics and business intelligenceBuilds intuitive interfaces, and visualizations (graphs, charts, heatmaps, KPI scorecards, etc) dashboards and reportsUsing PowerBI studio to build tabular & multi-dimensional data models, facts/dimensions data sets, data aggregation & calculations on data sets to build high level views and drilldowns to lower-level data elementsDevelop & run DAX queries, sql queries, functions, performs detailed analysis and test dashboards, drill down for data quality and accuracyBuild row level security and integration with Azure AD for role-based security controls on dashboards & reportsWork with web application developer to integrate PowerBI dashboards & reports into web application, integrate with backend APIs for hybrid data fetchWork with QA, UAT users to work on defects, data accuracy, meeting requirements and fix any issuesWorks across multi-functional teams to formulate and fine tune design ideas and guidelines.Maintain compliance with ComplexCare Solutions policies, procedures and mission statement.Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within ComplexCare Solutions Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position.Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by ComplexCare Solutions for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company; andWe reserve the right to change this job description from time to time as business needs dictate and will provide notice of such.
Job Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in the developing models and visualization in PowerBI Analytics toolExperience working on Healthcare data will be a huge plus2+ years experience in PowerBI data model, caching, security, performance5+ years’ experience in SQL, T-SQL, SQL Server2+ years’ experience in PowerBI report performance tuning, testing and deployment of dashboards & reports2+ years’ experience working in Azure public cloud will be a plusStrong understanding of database concepts and schema (like star, snowflake schema)Ability to learn quickly and independentlyAbility to effectively communicate with internal and external customersExperience with test driven development methodologies.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field of study.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time);Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;Subject to inside environmental conditions; andTravel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.
