Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for a Senior PHP - Backend Developer. As a Senior PHP - Backend Developer at Freterium, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable and efficient backend systems for our cloud-based Transportation Management System (TMS) platform. You will work closely with our cross-functional team of developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our customers' needs. Your day-to-day tasks will involve writing clean and efficient code, conducting code reviews, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and collaborating with team members to define and implement technical requirements.

Qualifications5+ years of experience in PHP backend developmentSolid understanding of object-oriented programming principlesProficient in Symfony framework and MySQL databaseExperience with RESTful API development and integrationStrong knowledge of software development best practicesExperience with version control systems, such as GitExcellent problem-solving and debugging skillsAbility to work independently and within a teamStrong communication and collaboration skillsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial:

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., DO, AWS, GCP)Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)Experience with Agile development methodologiesUnderstanding of logistics and supply chain management
