Job Description We are looking for a strong SmallWorld Magik developer to support our clients in N America. The ideal candidate for this role will welcome working on both engineering and maintenance tasks. The primary focus will be to develop, upgrade and implement features across multiple subsystems within our applications. You will be working with our candid and collaborative team, where your knowledge and advice about application architecture and the newest mobile technologies will be highly appreciated. The code you write will need to be cleanly organized and of the highest quality. You’ll also help ensure solid application performance and an excellent user experience. Work Location: Canada or United States (Remote) Employment Type: Permanent Full Time Responsibilities: Develop features across multiple subsystems within our applications, including collaboration in requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, unit testing and deployment. Fixing bugs and performance problems Writing clean, readable, and testable code Cooperating with designers, and the rest of the team to deliver well-architected and high-quality solutions Basic Qualifications: 3 + years of hands-on in Magik Programming and GE SmallWorld Technologies. Experience in Performing Smallworld Upgrades, Implementation etc… Proficiency in Data Modeling, Design Manager, Job Manager, Short Transaction Manager Configurations. Proficiency in Geo Spatial Server (GSS), Geo Spatial Analysis (GSA) and Task Management. Proficiency in Electric Office / PNI / GDO / GTO / GSS. Proficiency in Web Services and OOPs concept. Proficiency in Version Managed Datastore (VMDS). Proficiency in working with Source Code (Git, SVN, Mercurial).

Preferred Qualifications: Certification in GE Smallworld Java Java Script Cloud Experience (Azure, AWS) Candidates who prefer to work on Full Stack development in the project Lifecycle will be preferred.
